West Side High welcomes our
new Parent Liaison, Mr. Benjamin Burgess. Mr. Burgess
brings experience both as a parent and as an educator to
this position. He has been a substitute teacher,
attendance counselor and truant officer for the Truancy
Task Force. He was also Parent Liaison for the
Alternative Education Program before coming to West
Side.
Mr. Burgess looks forward to
helping support the growth of West Side’s PTSA. He
wishes to offer greetings to all parents and to
encourage you to get involved in your child’s education.
He says, “We have a great staff and a new principal who
wants to work with parents. So please come out to these
meetings. We need your voice to make things happen here
at WSHS. I hope to see and meet you at our back to
school night, October 8, 2009.”
